The Loose Ends

The loose ends mimics the printing process of a 3D printer. The object (Thread lamp) was an exploration of how a continuous string of a material is run to construct an object. The lamp was constructed with a support using card board and wool was run around, to form a closed shape, just like how a 3D printed prints a support system for the objects that can not hold itself together on its own.
